Dr Ratcliffe is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist who has worked in bariatric surgery since 2007. She received her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Royal Holloway, University of London and completed post-graduate training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). She holds an honorary lectureship in CBT at University College London and is accredited as a CBT therapist by the British Association of Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).
Dr Ratcliffe has extensive knowledge of the range of pre- and post-operative psychological issues experienced by those having bariatric surgery and providing psychological support and interventions to address these.
She carries out consultations on belief of Phoenix Health at clinics in London and Chester, but is also able to conduct remote Skype consultations for patients living in other areas of the country.
