“I am passionate about working in weight management and using behaviour change techniques with patients. One theme that runs through all my roles working as a dietitian is helping people to achieve weight maintenance in the long term. Losing weight can seem straight forward but the difficulty lies with sustaining it. By helping people change their habits and be more mindful about what, where, when, and how they eat, we can empower them to break free from yo-yo dieting. Combine that with the huge boost to weight loss that bariatric surgery can provide and you have a recipe for long-term success and a healthy and happy lifestyle.”
Gillian sees patients in Belfast and at KIMS Hospital in Kent. To speak to Gillian call 07824 556 179
